DIANA HEADLINES MAJOR FESTIVALS IN EUROPE AND AROUND THE GLOBE ON THE CONTINUATION OF HER 2010 “QUIET NIGHTS” WORLD TOUR.
Diana Krall continues her world tour that will take her through Europe, the Middle East and South America through September for 20 dates in 13 countries
The celebrated musician is headlining at numerous European festivals in July: Switzerland's Montreux Jazz Festival, Rotterdam's North Sea Jazz; France's Jazz a Vienne, Les Nuits de la Guitare, Jazz in Juan, Cascais Cool Jazz Fest and Marciac Jazz Festival; and Spain's Xacobeo Festival. She will also play multiple shows in Italy, Portugal and Spain, and will perform in Athens, Copenhagen and London.
Krall, whose Grammy-winning 2009 'Quiet Nights' album (Verve) — her highest charting album to date, at #3 on the Billboard 200 -- was inspired by Brazilian bossa nova and the country’s enthusiastic audiences, will be back in Brazil in September for four concerts, followed by dates in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Lima, Peru.
Her touring quartet will consist of Diana on piano, guitarist Anthony Wilson, bassist Robert Hurst and drummer Karriem Riggins.
